David Allen

That’s why David Allen created Getting Things Done®. After decades of in-the-field research and practice of his productivity methods, David wrote the international best-seller Getting Things Done (published in 2001). Since then the book has sold over 2.5 million copies, has been published in over 28 languages, and TIME magazine heralded it as “the defining self-help business book of its time.”

In 2015, he released the new edition of the book, with new insights, updates, and discoveries about the GTD methodology and its many personal and professional applications.

Paul Vahur

I first came across the GTD method 8 years ago as an entrepreneur, looking for a way to be as productive as possible while maintaining a clear mind and strategic insight. GTD quickly became my way of working and keystone of my personal developmental journey.

Since then, I have successfully put GTD in use while working on various initiatives in Microsoft: coordinating world’s biggest private hackathon events across European offices; organizing networking summit for global engineering leaders; and coordinating learning activities for Microsoft Development Center Estonia.

I am an avid student of the GTD method, Certified GTD trainer, and Founder of GTD Estonia (Brightwork OÜ). My passion as a productivity trainer and consultant is to support individuals and companies in achieving better results and helping them manage their tasks and responsibilities more efficiently and with less stress.

I am happy to talk with you about how GTD can help you and your company to be more productive, reduce stress, and to achieve a better life for you.

Neeme Kari

I am an entrepreneur, consultant and project manager with a lot of experience in event and conference management, tourism, and employer branding fields. I have been lucky to work with many international companies – Microsoft, GlaxoSmithKline, Porsche, to name a few, and many startups – Pipedrive, Monese, Fortumo, Starship and others. I have also contributed to the success of not-for profit projects – Tallinn 2011 and Black Nights Film Festival – in various roles, from consultant to CEO.

My career has been fast-paced, which also includes several burnout episodes. These experiences pushed me to look for help in various time and task management methods and I finally came across of Getting Things Done.

I wish I had found it sooner as unlike other productivity methods that focus on trying to manage your time, GTD focuses on managing your attention so that you can have more space in your mind. Your mind is for having ideas, not holding them – this realization changed my life and I decided to help spread this idea more widely.

I am Co-founder of GTD Estonia, a GTD practitioner, lifelong learner of the method, and on my way to become certified GTD trainer. My goal is to become GTD coach and help as many people as possible.

Kristin Vahur

I am a university student and Social Media Manager for GTD Estonia. Currently, I am doing my bachelor’s degree in psychology in the Netherlands, which is why I split my time between two countries. As a person, I am known as someone who is creative, very social, and organized.

Kristin Vahur

I love to organize, be it events, projects, or my life, and additionally, I am very much into self-development. Therefore, naturally, I gravitate towards productivity systems such as GTD. I have started to integrate aspects of the GTD methodology that are applicable & relevant to my life into my daily and weekly routines and have found them to be very helpful.
